Excellent value for money, and the location is handy for other leisure activities in the area. The downside for some may be that, as an ex-industrial line, it's not the most scenic and the locos and rolling stock aren't the most attractive! But the museum has a good selection of exhibits, so for trainspotters it's certainly a good day out.
